Kelly Boyce-Hurlbert, aged 29, was fatally struck in a hit-and-run on July 5, 2013, while riding her bike home in Traverse City, Michigan. She was struck from behind by a dark SUV or truck during the early hours following the city's Fourth of July celebrations. Kelly was dragged down Washington Street before being left in an alley near her home. She was rushed to Munson Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries later that morning.
