Ashley Coates, a 24-year-old Detroit resident, was tragically killed on August 5, 2017. She and Rolando Douglas were found in the backseat of a burning vehicle on Detroit’s east side. Both victims had been shot before their bodies were set on fire. The case has remained unsolved, with law enforcement still seeking information from the community to solve the crime.
