On a summer day in Springfield, Massachusetts, the quiet of Gurdon Bill Park was broken by a grim discovery. On June 2, 1995, the body of 24-year-old Celestina Perez was found. A Hispanic female, she had been brutally beaten and strangled. The discovery of her body marked the beginning of a homicide investigation that, to this day, remains without a conclusion.
