In the summer of 2007, a wave of violence continued to trouble the city of Baltimore. On the second day of July, a man's life was abruptly ended in a shooting. Allen Burton, a 39-year-old Black male, was found around noon in the 2000 block of Guilford Avenue. The familiar sound of sirens filled the air as emergency services rushed to the scene.
