In the autumn of 2008, the life of Craig Frederick Colvin, a 23-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of Sunday, October 5, 2008, he was found in the 3100 block of Virginia Avenue, the victim of a fatal incident. The city at that time was grappling with a significant number of homicides, and Mr. Colvin's death added to the growing toll of violence that plagued Baltimore that year.
