Donte Demetrius Gunter

In the late summer of 2009, a life was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore. Donte Demetrius Gunter, a 25-year-old Black male, became another victim of the city's ongoing violence. On the afternoon of August 20, 2009, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed in the area of the 100 block of South Highland Avenue. When the chaos subsided, Gunter was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
