On a cold winter day in Baltimore, Maryland, on January 18, 2010, the life of 27-year-old James Jackson, a Black male, was tragically cut short. In the vicinity of the 400 block of West Franklin Street, Jackson was fatally stabbed.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and Jackson was rushed to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in a desperate attempt to save his life. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
