Antwan Lamar Brooks, aged 24, was shot and killed in the early hours of September 22, 2011, in Capitol Heights, Maryland. The incident occurred around 4:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of Benning Road. Officers from the Prince George's County Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area and found Brooks with severe gunshot injuries.
