In the winter of 2011, a promising life was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. Brandon Hudson, a 22-year-old Black male, was found deceased on the evening of December 8th. A senior at Morgan State University, he was discovered inside his off-campus apartment located in the 2900 block of North Calvert Street in the Charles Village neighborhood.
The cause of his death was determined to be a shooting.
A friend of Hudson's made the grim discovery, finding him on his couch with a gunshot wound to the head. Investigators arriving at the scene found no signs of forced entry or a struggle within the apartment, leaving the motive behind the violent act a troubling mystery. At the time, Baltimore City police detectives expressed their frustration with the lack of leads and made a public plea for any information that could help them identify who was responsible for the death of the young university student.
