Brandon Simms, a 23-year-old Baltimore resident, was fatally shot on April 14, 2012, in the 400 block of Watty Court. The incident occurred at around 8:00 p.m. while Simms was eating crabs in the courtyard. According to eyewitnesses, a man approached Simms and shot him first in the leg.
