Death by Force

Deontay Thorpe, a 20-year-old Baltimore resident, was fatally shot on September 22, 2014. The incident took place in the 1600 block of East North Avenue, in a neighborhood that has historically experienced high levels of gun violence. Deontay was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and, despite rapid response efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
