Adrian D. Pettaway, a 34-year-old resident of Fairburn, Georgia, was tragically shot and killed on October 6, 2015, while visiting Oakland, California. The incident occurred in the East Lake District of Oakland, near the 1900 block of 5th Avenue. Pettaway was found in his rental car, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
