In the spring of 2016, a wave of violence continued to trouble the streets of Baltimore. On May 25th, a 25-year-old Black man named Antonio Addison Jr. became another victim of this ongoing crisis. He was discovered inside a residence in the 1200 block of North Carey Street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The area was known for its struggles with violence, and Addison's death added to a growing list of unsolved homicides in the city that year.
