Cortez Mitchell, age 22, was killed on October 10, 2016, in Baltimore, Maryland, in what appears to be an act of retaliatory violence. Mitchell was shot inside his vehicle on North Monroe Street, and when police arrived, they found him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital, but his injuries proved fatal.
