Eddiebo Rodriguez, a 20-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on January 11, 2013, in a fatal shooting incident. The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Street. Rodriguez was driving an Audi with two other men as passengers when gunmen opened fire on the vehicle. Rodriguez was the only one hit by the gunfire and later succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

The primary suspect in Rodriguez's murder is Lamar Eric Webster, a reputed gang member who was 21 years old at the time. Webster, who had a Concord address, was charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder for allegedly shooting and wounding two other victims, Curran Warren and Omari Edwards, who were in the car with Rodriguez. Webster was also charged with discharging a firearm causing death, which could add 25 years to his state prison term if convicted.
