On the evening of September 27, 2017, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in a West Baltimore neighborhood, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Kenneth Burton, a 27-year-old Black/African American male, was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 2300 block of West Lafayette Avenue. The shooting occurred at approximately 9:35 p.m., a time when the city was grappling with a surge in violence.
