A man dies in a fire determined to be arson On November 11, 1976, Raoul Schwartz, a 91-year-old man, was found dead near the entrance of his home in South Bridgton, Maine, after a fire completely destroyed the residence. The fire occurred early in the morning and was discovered by a passing motorist. Investigators quickly determined that the fire was intentionally set, and Schwartz's death was ruled a homicide.
