A woman is abandoned at an ER by an anonymous man
On the evening of October 13, 1984, Beverly Polchies, a 25-year-old female from the Woodstock First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada, found herself in Old Town, Maine. She had traveled to the area with her boyfriend and another couple. An encounter with the Old Town Police Department due to public intoxication led to her being picked up and subsequently transferred to the custody of the Indian Island Police.
