A man dies inside his home
On the evening of September 24, 2015, the quiet town of Caribou, Maine, was disturbed by the sight of a residential fire on Lower Lyndon Street. Firefighters were dispatched to the home of 58-year-old Kenneth Zernicke, a White male known for his love of the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. As they worked to extinguish the blaze, they made a grim discovery inside the residence: the body of Mr. Zernicke.
