Hector Ambrosi, a 47-year-old car dealer from New Hartford, NY, was found dead on January 15, 1983, in a room at the Ramada Inn on Burrstone Road. Ambrosi, who owned and operated Midland Auto Sales in Frankfort, was discovered by hotel staff with multiple gunshot wounds to the head. The investigation revealed that Ambrosi had been shot approximately seven times, and his jewelry was stolen from the scene.
