In the closing days of 2016, the life of a young Black / African American man, Edwin "Eddie" Brumfield III, was tragically cut short on the streets of New Orleans. The 25-year-old was killed on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, a victim of gun violence in the city's 7th Ward.
