Robert Fields, a 22-year-old resident of Fresno, California, was shot and killed on October 1, 2016. The shooting occurred in the early hours as Fields was walking in a neighborhood in Southeast Fresno. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots, and when police arrived at the scene, they found Fields suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, Fields succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
