In the early evening of a Saturday in March 2017, a tragedy unfolded in a quiet residential neighborhood in New Orleans East. Inside a home on Brutus Street, three individuals were found shot to death in what would become a grim and perplexing triple homicide. One of the victims was a 58-year-old man named Joseph Davis.
