Roosevelt "Rooster" Netter, aged 52, was killed on October 3, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a resident of Baton Rouge and known affectionately by friends and family as "Rooster." His death was a tragic loss for his community, and he was remembered during services held at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Baker, Louisiana, on October 14, 2017.
