In the winter of 2005, the life of 34-year-old Ike Chivers, a male from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Thursday, January 20th, Chivers was walking down an alley in the Shawnee neighborhood, not far from where he had been staying with his girlfriend. It was there that he was fatally shot. The sudden and violent nature of his death left his family and loved ones in a state of shock and profound grief.
