In the summer of 2006, the quiet community of Paducah, Kentucky, was unsettled by the tragic death of a respected 81-year-old retired physician, Dr. Frank Shemwell. On July 24th, emergency services responded to a fire at his home. Inside, firefighters made a grim discovery on the kitchen floor: the burned body of the elderly man.
