In the winter of 2008, the Hazard, Kentucky community was shaken by the violent death of Marion Estep Sr., a 76-year-old Caucasian male known for his kindness and dedication to his faith. On the afternoon of January 10th, two hospital maintenance workers discovered Estep in his white 1994 Chrysler on the shoulder of the Hal Rogers Parkway near exit 56.
