In the quiet of a late November morning in 2016, the life of Santino Aguek, a 35-year-old man of Sudanese origin, came to a tragic and violent end in Louisville, Kentucky. His body was discovered shortly before 8 a.m. on Monday, November 28th, on Colonial Oaks Court, nestled near Southside Drive. When police arrived, they found him unresponsive and cold to the touch; he had sustained a single gunshot wound.
