On a Tuesday afternoon in February 1999, Star Gail Boomer, a 39-year-old Caucasian female, went to Uncle Mike's Bar near her home in Kansas City, Kansas, and was never seen again. She had gone to the local establishment with her roommate, who left early but planned to pick Star up later. When the roommate called the bar, she was told that Star had left with two men. However, witness accounts from that evening painted a much more violent and disturbing picture of what transpired.
