Department, two unknown individuals forced their way into the home late that Wednesday evening. During the intrusion, the suspects confronted Rivas and shot him in the head. The perpetrators subsequently fled the scene on foot, disappearing into the surrounding area before law enforcement could arrive. The victim’s body was discovered shortly after the shooting by his brother, who then contacted the authorities.
