Travis L. Mills, a 39-year-old Caucasian male, was a construction laborer and a well-known resident of Indianapolis, Indiana. On the late night of April 18, 2010, his life was tragically cut short on the near east side of the city. Police responded to a call and discovered Mills inside his car, where he had been shot. Medical personnel arrived at the scene but were unable to save him, declaring him dead from his injuries. A woman who was also in the vehicle at the time of the incident sustained non-serious injuries and was subsequently treated at a local hospital.
The investigation into the homicide quickly pointed detectives toward a suspect. Travis Lang was identified as the individual allegedly responsible for the death of Travis L. Mills.
