Hey everyone,
I wanted to share some thoughts on Roman T. Brown's case. I grew up not too far from Indy and remember when the 2013 violence wave hit – it was terrifying and left a lasting impact on so many families, including the Browns. What strikes me most about Roman's case is how it underscores a larger issue that year, particularly the impact on young Black men in the city.
I can't help but think about how thin the resources were stretched for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. It’s frustrating knowing the Unsolved Homicide Unit, despite being full of folks eager to help, simply can’t keep up with the sheer volume of cases, Roman's included.
It’s not just about statistics; it’s about Roman's family and friends who carry this pain every day, waiting for justice that seems to elude them. I wish there could be more support for both the community and our law enforcement to tackle these cases head-on. Anyone else know if there’s been any effort towards that recently?
Sending love to everyone affected by this, and hoping for resolution for all these unsolved cases.

Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Roman T. Brown closely, and I wanted to discuss something that's been weighing on my mind. It's troubling to see the amount of pressure on the IMPD and just how stretched they seem to be with all these unsolved cases. I keep thinking about the detectives who must feel overwhelmed having so many files on their desks—all these lives and families waiting for justice. Roman’s case, like too many others, seems caught in this cycle, and it's tough to see how it's all playing out for the victims’ loved ones. There’s got to be more that can be done to support the investigators and give these families some peace. Has anyone heard anything about community or outreach programs stepping up to help with resources?
Thoughts and prayers go out to Roman’s family and everyone affected.
Hi everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the unsolved case of Roman T. Brown. It's been nearly ten years since he was tragically taken from his family and friends, with so many questions still left unanswered. I cannot even begin to imagine how hard it must be for those who knew and loved him to continue living without any closure.
What's really striking is how Roman's case is just one of many in Indianapolis, where the number of unsolved homicides keeps growing. The frustration and pain this must cause families is unimaginable. It's disheartening to see the IMPD struggling with resources and support to manage this crisis effectively, but I sincerely hope they can find a way to resolve these cases.
Bringing these families some peace and honoring the memory of those lost, like Roman, should be a top priority. Maybe if more of us speak up, share their stories, and push for change, we might see a difference. My heart goes out to everyone trying to cope with this heartache.
Take care, everyone.
