Has anyone here ever visited the old William Reed School building? It's now apartment housing, but I've heard that locals still talk about the tragic events of February 2, 1960, as if it happened just yesterday. Minnie McFerren and Harriett Robson were taken from this world far too soon, and the impact on their students must have been unimaginable. I've always wondered how the current residents feel about living in a place with such a heavy history. Do people find solace in the fact that it’s now part of a community, or is there an eerie feeling knowing the past? It's such a sad chapter, and my thoughts go out to everyone affected, both then and now.
