I recently came across the case of Damion La-Marr "Sota" Wheeler, and I’m curious about the community’s thoughts on the lack of media coverage surrounding his tragic death. It seems unusual given the Fort Wayne Police Department’s reputation for having a high clearance rate in homicide cases. I can’t help but wonder if this was a case that somehow slipped through the cracks or if there were other factors at play that kept it from being in the public eye. It’s also incredibly sad to think about the loved ones Damion left behind, especially considering his companion, She-Ra Jacobs, was pregnant with their son at the time. I can't imagine the pain they must be feeling, and my heart goes out to them. Does anyone have insight on why some cases seem to receive less media attention than others, even when there isn’t an immediate answer or resolution?
