Has anyone else been thinking about the impact on Officer Denzinger's fellow officers after this tragic incident? It's got to be incredibly tough to lose a colleague in such a shocking way. The fact that they witnessed and experienced such violence must have left a lasting impression. I wonder how they cope with going back to work day after day, knowing the risks involved in even the most routine-sounding calls. My heart goes out to them, along with Officer Denzinger's family, who have to navigate life without him. They all show such bravery and resilience that I'd imagine might be hard to fully understand unless you've walked in their shoes. If anyone has insight into resources or support systems that are in place for officers in situations like this, I'd love to know more.
