I’ve been thinking a lot about Ryan's teacher from preschool. Imagining how devastating it must have been for her to hear the news is just unbearable. Teachers often see their students as their own, especially little ones like Ryan, who had his whole life ahead of him. I can't even begin to fathom the sadness she must feel every time she remembers his smile or hears his name. It really hits home how these ripples of loss stretch outwards, affecting not just families, but neighbors, friends, and teachers who cared about these kids. I hope the community continues to support one another and leans on available resources to get through this. Stay strong, Austin. You’re in my thoughts.
