I've been following the threads about Stedman Baird's case, and I keep thinking about the deep pain his family must be feeling. It's incredibly sad to think about the children, Jaivon and Alyria, who have to grow up without their father. It seems like they lost not just a dad, but also the future moments with him that should've been filled with laughter, guidance, and love. I know his sister, Harmonii, and his brothers must be struggling with this void as well. It's such a cruel reminder of how substance abuse and unresolved conflicts can rip apart families. My heart goes out to all of them as they navigate life without him. If anyone has suggestions on ways the community can support families who have experienced similar tragedies, I'd love to hear them. It's important that we find ways to help and stand by victims' families.
