It's incredibly difficult to grasp the magnitude of what happened to Harrison and Shelby, but I can't help but think about their friends at Zionsville High School and the tennis team. Losing a fellow teammate and friend so suddenly and in such a tragic manner must be unimaginably painful. Schools sometimes provide counselors during such times, but I wonder if it ever truly helps those left behind to cope with the grief and confusion. The ripple effect of this tragedy extends far beyond the immediate family. In times like these, the support of a community is so important. If any of Harrison's friends or teammates are reading, know that it's okay to feel a range of emotions and that reaching out for support when needed is a strength, not a weakness. Stay strong, Zionsville.

It's been a few years since we lost Harrison and Shelby, but the impact still lingers deeply in the Zionsville community. It's incredibly sad to think about the lives they could have led. I was reflecting on how Harrison was an incredible young talent on the Zionsville Boys Tennis Team. Being part of that team meant so much to him, and he was always the kind of kid who lifted everyone's spirits, whether they were winning or losing. Tennis was such a big part of his life, and I can only imagine how his presence is missed by his teammates and coaches. To those who knew the family, it's still a difficult topic to discuss, especially knowing how much Harrison and Shelby were loved. My heart is with their mother, Stephanie, and those who were close to them. I hope they continue to find strength in the community's support. Let's honor Harrison and Shelby by remembering their joy and the positive impact they had on everyone around them.
