Has anyone else considered the role of that protective order in Ryan's tragic case? From what I've gathered, it seems like such a critical piece in the puzzle. The fact that Ross had a protective order against him complicates things because it’s unclear if he knew about it or if it was officially served. If it wasn’t, one might wonder if Ryan thought everything was okay or maybe tried to reconcile on a more amicable basis when he went to see Dakota. It’s just so devastating to think about the dynamics here, especially since he went to the apartment for something as innocent as exchanging his child. It just breaks my heart for their child who now has lost their father. I'm curious to know more about how the order was managed or if anyone else has insight on similar cases where protective orders played a crucial role. Thinking of Ryan's family and friends during such an unimaginable time.
Hi everyone, it’s such a tragic case unfolding in Seymour, and my heart really goes out to Ryan's family. I wanted to bring up something that seemed odd to me—the protective order against Ross. Does anyone know if such orders typically get served right away, or can they fall through the cracks? It seems crucial to me, because if Ryan wasn’t aware of the protective order due to some bureaucratic delay, it could have potentially changed the course of events on that day. Also, I can’t help but feel for Dakota in all this—caught in the middle of what sounds like a terribly difficult and emotional situation. I’m just hoping they manage to find some peace and healing with time. If anyone has more insight into how protective orders are handled, especially in Indiana, I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Has anyone else been following the custody situation in this tragic case? It's so difficult to wrap my head around how a child is caught in the middle of all this. Ryan Ross was trying to see his child, but it turned into something so awful. I keep thinking about how the child is going to grow up without their father because of this. I hope there’s some support system in place for the little one and that both families can somehow put personal feelings aside to make sure the child has a stable future. It's just devastating on so many levels, and my thoughts are really with everyone affected. Does anyone know if there's been any discussion about who will take custody going forward?
