Has anyone else been thinking about the surveillance cameras at the gas station where Jahaon Sims was tragically shot? It’s 2021, and you’d imagine that a place like a gas station, especially at a busy intersection like 25th & Broadway, would have a reliable security system. Has there been any info shared about what these cameras captured that night? It’s frustrating to think they might not have had them or that they weren't functional. My heart goes out to Jahaon’s family and friends, as well as the woman who was injured in the car with him. It's devastating that they don’t have answers yet. It just feels like the technology that’s supposed to help us solve these senseless crimes isn’t being used to its full potential. I truly hope someone who saw something that night can come forward because no family should have to live with this uncertainty. If anyone has heard anything new on this front, please share.

I was reading about Jahaon Sims’ case and it really made me think about the young woman who was in the car with him. It must have been so terrifying. I hope she is okay, both physically and emotionally. Situations like this just add layers of trauma, not only for the immediate victims but also for everyone connected to them. I feel for her and any of Jahaon’s friends and family who are left searching for answers. How is she coping with all this, and has there been any word on her helping with the investigation? It's tough when cases seem to stall with so little info. Sending strength to all those involved, hoping for some breakthroughs soon.
