Has anyone else wondered about the potential significance of Jamie’s two cats, Prince and Bandit, being in the apartment during the incident? Cats are often creatures of habit and might have reacted differently if there was a stranger in their environment. I know it might sound a bit out there, but animals sometimes sense things we can't. If the person who hurt Jamie knew her, the cats likely wouldn’t have reacted aggressively or fearfully. If the police found the cats calm and unharmed, could it imply that the person was familiar to them, and therefore, to Jamie? I really hope Prince and Bandit, wherever they ended up, managed to find some peace after losing their owner. It’s these details that make you remember Jamie was a real person with a family and pets who loved her, not just a name in the news. Thoughts on this angle? Has anyone seen cases where pets have contributed to investigations?
I’ve been thinking about Jamie’s decision to stay in on that fateful Sunday night. It really caught my attention. Jamie was always on the go—a true social butterfly. For her to decide to stay home and rent movies on a Sunday makes me wonder if she had an inclination that something was off, even if she didn’t openly acknowledge it.
Sometimes, people sense danger without fully realizing it. The idea that she might have felt uneasy or sensed a threat is heartbreaking. Maybe it was because she wasn’t feeling well as she mentioned to a friend. But given her strong and independent personality, it’s concerning to think that she might have been wary of something or someone, especially if she knew her attacker.
It’s just so sad that even within her own home, which should have been a haven, something terrible found its way in. I hope the investigators can find that missing piece to solve this mystery, not only for Jamie's sake but also for her family, who deserve answers and peace. Would love to hear your thoughts on this, especially if anyone else has had similar feelings about her decision to stay in that night.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the Jamie Santos case, and something that's been bugging me is the unusual precision the 911 caller had when correcting the operator about the address. It's such a small detail, but it feels deliberate, almost like whoever it was wanted to make sure there was no confusion about where to go. If this caller was indeed involved, it's like they wanted to be caught or at least wanted help to reach Jamie as soon as possible. Could this mean the caller had some remorse or perhaps a connection to Jamie that made them want to ensure she got help? It’s baffling how someone who seems knowledgeable about her and her address hasn't been tracked down all these years. Has anyone else given thought to the significance of the address correction? Sending love to Jamie's family and hoping they get the answers they need soon.
