I came across this heartbreaking case of Lisa Renee Emineth, and I can't help but think about the garden she never got to create for St. Jude's Hospital. It's devastating to lose someone with such a big heart and dreams to improve the lives of others. I wonder if any of her family or friends might take up her dream in her honor. Continuing her vision could be a way to keep her memory and spirit alive. This case also makes me think about the way communities handle tragedies like this. Do we have enough support systems in place for people dealing with relational troubles that might prevent such tragedies? It’s haunting to think how things could have potentially been different with some intervention or additional resources for those in volatile situations. Sending a lot of love and strength to Lisa's family and everyone she touched with her kindness.
