Every time I read about cases like Abedalah’s, I’m reminded of the broader challenges that entire communities face—limited resources, lack of opportunities, and the constant worry of safety. It’s frustrating and so deeply unfair. My thoughts are with his family and friends who are still dealing with this unimaginable loss. What more can be done to support these communities and ensure a safer future for everyone living there?
