Does anyone else feel that the system really let Jeremy down? It’s genuinely tough to think about how this could have been avoided if more attention was given to Todd Houck's mental health issues and criminal history before it escalated to this point. It's chilling to think about how many red flags might have been overlooked. My heart goes out to Jeremy's family and friends, and I'm just hoping that this tragedy could perhaps serve as a wake-up call for better preventive measures, particularly for people with histories like Houck. There needs to be a serious conversation about how we can do better as a society to prevent such violence and protect those caught in the crossfire.
