Has anyone else seen the interviews with Brandon's coworkers from the restaurant where they all worked? It's incredibly moving to hear how they describe him as someone who always brought light and laughter into any room. This makes everything even more difficult to comprehend. There's been a lot of talk about mental health and gun violence in this case, but it’s just as important to remember the impact Brandon, Miranda, and Cole had on those around them. They touched many lives, and it's evident how deeply loved they were. I can't imagine what their families are still going through. Sending love and strength to them all.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the day they discovered Miranda’s car down that embankment. I can only imagine the panic and dread that must have hit her father when he realized something was seriously wrong. Parents aren’t supposed to outlive their children, and for him to go from finding her crashed car to hearing about the scene at that house is a nightmare beyond comprehension. It’s a stark reminder of how a regular day can turn into a tragedy in the blink of an eye. I really feel for all the families involved who had to receive such horrific news. Trevor Charles’ admission doesn’t bring back those precious lives, but I sincerely hope that it pushes people to advocate for better mental health resources.
