I’ve been following Asia Cowell's case closely and it’s been weighing heavily on my mind. I wanted to discuss the incredible resilience shown by her family, especially in keeping her memory alive through the Asia Cowell Legacy Fund. It’s truly admirable how they’ve transformed their grief into something that can positively impact her younger siblings' futures. It’s devastating to think about how Asia’s potential was unjustly taken away from her, but seeing her family’s strength gives me hope that her dreams will live on in some way. In such dark times, the fund is a wonderful reminder of the importance of community support and not allowing violence to define the entirety of someone’s story. I hope for nothing but justice for Asia and her family, and that the community continues to rally around them as the legal proceedings for the other defendants continue. It's a testament to how important it is to hold onto the memories and legacies of those we’ve lost too soon.
