Has anyone else been following the case of Akbar Meeks? I've been reading about his murder, and it's so distressing to see how his death is still unresolved. It seems like his case is just one among so many others where justice hasn't been served. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family must be going through, not knowing what happened or why. I saw that there hasn't been much cooperation from witnesses, and I wonder why that’s such a recurring issue here. It feels like without community support, these cases just get lost in the system, and the families are left with no answers. What do you think might encourage more people to come forward and help the investigations in neighborhoods like Washington Heights? I genuinely hope that someday soon, Akbar's family finds the justice they deserve.
