Has anyone heard more details about the weather in Klawock around the time of Edward Oliver's disappearance in December 1989? I know winter can be pretty harsh in Alaska, and I wonder if the weather might have complicated searches or created natural hazards that could have contributed to his vanishing. It's been a long time, but this could be a small piece of the puzzle to look into. Even back then, wouldn’t weather conditions have made extensive searches very challenging? I'm curious if there were any significant storms or unusual conditions reported that might still be documented somewhere.
