Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on the day Al went missing? I was browsing through archived reports and it seems like there was a sudden change in wind patterns around Sumner Strait that day. Apparently, there were strong gusts coming in that weren't forecasted, which could have made the waters really choppy and dangerous. I haven't seen much discussion about this angle, but it definitely makes me wonder how much of a factor it played in the accident. Does anyone have more info or thoughts on this?
