Hey everyone, I stumbled across Hon Wong's case from Irondequoit, NY—one of those unsolved mysteries that sticks with you. I was digging into it and found it interesting that his disappearance didn't receive as much media attention as I expected, especially considering how young he was. It got me thinking: what factors contribute to which cases get widespread news coverage and which ones don’t? Is it location, the family’s outreach efforts, or something else entirely? Maybe there was some local news at the time, but it didn’t seem to go national. If anyone has more insight or tips on how media attention for missing persons cases typically unfolds, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Every bit helps in keeping these cases alive in public memory.
